Chokecherry Jelly

The Baltimore Oriole
visited the oak tree but ignored
both the orange and the jelly.

The warbler, a Tennessee perhaps?
was more willing to accept my hospitality.

You have been very prolific with bird posts lately!
My goldfinches, purple finches and grosbeaks. have all gone on holiday. I only see a few a day now! Our attempts at luring in orioles have failed.

On a happier note, we hung the hummingbird feeder and have been seeing them regularly!

Hummingbirds are good! The grosbeaks have probably headed up north. Not sure about the others, but likely some of them did too.
