I'll change it to form. There are four kinds of Dark-Eyed Juncos, and they all look quite different. We frequently see the slate coloured which has dark sides and no rust or pinkish feathers. There's also a pink sided which has a light coloured hood, and the Grey-headed which doesn't have a good at all. Don't ask me why they are all the same bird when the thrushes have smaller differences and are different birds.
